KILBARRON DRAMA GROUP
Don’t miss John B Keane’s hilarious comedy “Moll” which will play for three nights only in Kilbarron Hall this weekend – Friday March 6th to Sunday March 8th. Doors open at 8pm with curtains up at 8.30pm. See Advert.

EUROVISION HOPEFUL
Congratulations to 16year old singer and songwriter Molly Sterling from Puckane, who won the national final of the Eurovision Song Contest last Friday night on the Late Late Show with her song, “Playing with Numbers”. She will represent Ireland in the final in Vienna in May.

Terryglass Arts Festival A.G.M. 2015
The AGM will take place in Terryglass Hall on Thursday night, March 26th, at 7.30 pm. We invite anyone who has an interest in the festival to attend. This year’s festival takes place from Wednesday August 12- Sunday 16th. Come along and help make the festival a success again this year. You can contribute in any way, from being a member of the committee to helping with some administration tasks, to volunteering during the festival itself! Terryglass Arts Festival brings the Arts to All – Please help us to do it!

AUCTION
Ballinderry Sportsfield are holding a Timber Auction on this Sunday 8th of March in Kilbarron Village. There will be a large quantity of timber in different size loads along with other items up for sale on the day. There will also be a Cake sale, various raffles and something for everyone. Donations of cakes etc for the cake sale would be of great help. The auction will be starting at 2:00 sharp. All support would be greatly appreciated.

KILBARRON/TERRYGLASS COMMUNITY ALERT MEETING
Public Meeting/Official Launch for Coolbawn, Carney, Kilbarron, Terryglass and Carrigahorig Areas, on Wednesday 11th March at 7.30 pm
in Kilbarron Hall. In attendance will be Sgt Tom O Dwyer who will focus on on issues of security, and Supt. Bob Noonan and local gardai -whom will answer your questions and concerns.

RELAY FOR LIFE
Relay for Life Tipperary 2015 takes place on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August in Toomevara GAA grounds. Would you like to help our community fight back against cancer, raise awareness and promote the great work and services provided to our community by the Irish Cancer Society? Relay is a fun filled 24hr event if you would like to participate and join our local team, please contact Marcella on 087 6879502.

POP UP SHOP
A pop-up second hand shop to raise funds for Africa is open on Fridays and Saturdays for the next few weekends, in Main St. Borrisokane. For more information and to donate items please contact Mary McGeeney on 067 22164.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION
Kilbarron Hall Committee will hold its annual Church Gate Collection at Masses in Terryglass and Kilbarron during the week-end of March 14th and 15th. All funds raised are used for the upkeep of our community hall and your support will be greatly appreciated.

OPERATION TRANSFORMATION

Operation Transformation continues in Kilbarron with Boxercise classes in Kilbarron Hall on Tuesday nights from 8-9pm. The weekly ‘Weigh-in’ at Hannigan’s is on Wednesday nights at 9pm. So why not come along and join the fun while losing those extra lbs and getting fitter..

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
