BIRTHDAY WISHES
Congratulations to John McCarthy, Springfield who celebrated his 80th birthday recently. He was joined by friends and family for a very enjoyable party in Hannigan’s, Kilbarron last Saturday night. Continued good health John, and best wishes for many more birthdays.
Congratulations are also extended to Paddy Dunne, Kylebeg, Johnny Slattery Coolbawn and Mary Dunne, Ballywilliam who joined forces and celebrated their 50th birthdays at a great night in Hannigan’s recently.

HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Kilbarron Terryglass Historical Society invites everyone to The ‘Night’ of the round table in the Old Forge Craft Shop, Ballinderry on Friday April 17th from 8pm. This will be an evening of memories, parish history, folklore, traditions, times past, parish achievements and much more. Everyone is welcome to come along and share their stories and memories of growing up in the parish. It is this oral history which is an invaluable part of the heritage of the parish which should be captured for future generations to benefit from.

TERRYGLASS IMPROVEMENTS ASSOCIATION
National Spring Clean- On Tuesdays April 14 and 21 at 7.15pm. Meet at the village green. All volunteers welcome.
Walking Trail – The launch of the “Terryglass Village Walking Trail” will take place in Terryglass Hall on Friday 17th April at 9pm. The association will also launch their Facebook page on that night. Everyone welcome, light refreshments served afterwards.

CHURCH NEWS
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT – What is the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament? Why is it being renewed in this Parish soon? Find out at Masses next Saturday and Sunday April 18th & 19th.
BAPTISMS

ART EXHIBITION
Portumna library is hosting a children’s art exhibition of creations by the students of Ute Duggan “Bramble Art” from April 18th – 29th, opening on
Saturday 18th at 3pm. All welcome.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
